Not In Australia!

Sharia.. A law created and maintained by the un-educated and the brainwashed has no place in a modern society. The customs followed under Sharia Law are completely primitive and go against all aspects of humanity. I find the beliefs of the Sharia men regarding women to be completely barbaric and grossly inaccurate. The whole concept of blaming and punishing women for the downfall of men shows nothing less than insanity. A comment made by a senior Muslim cleric (not naming names), here in Australia has stuck in my mind. - "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?" This was referring to victims of gang rape, blaming them and their attire for what had happened to them. I did not interperate this comment as this cleric had intended, instead my understanding was that this Muslim leader is comparing the similarities in brain function of these young muslim rapists, to the brain function of a cat. That just about summed it up for me. To believe in the barbaric customs of Sharia, you need to have an intelligence level no greater than that of a cat. This makes quite a bit of sense when you think we are living in the 21st century, and these people are 'stoning people to death'? Primarily women who are 'accused' of infidelity. Not proven guilty, not given anything close to a fair trial, remembering that infidelity on a woman's part according to Sharia Law, includes if she is a victim of rape. Yes. A rape victim can be found guilty of infidelity and sentenced to death. Death by stoning. This is the absolute epitome of uncivilised, in humane, animalistic behaviour. Consider that this is still going on in some parts of the world and it's 2012. Many cultures have used the death penalty for centuries as punishment for certain crimes, but note the huge difference in the techniques used? For example, back in Britain in the 1400 and 1500's they used beheading or hanging. They were given trials, and there were set punishments for certain crimes and the public was aware of these consequences. England had a more structured and civilised legal system in the middle ages, than what Sharia Law provides today. Compare the ancient civilisations such as the Egyptians and the Spartans and their ways of life compared to the insane customs that is Sharia Law.
